Welcome

Elland and District Churches Together represents all the Christian churches in the area. Its activities include:

  • United services at major festivals and on the evening of the 5th Sunday of any month
  • Study groups, especially in Lent
  • Coordinating the Christian Aid collection
  • Joint outreach initiatives
  • Lent prayer breakfasts
  • Coordinates the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
The clergy fraternal
  • coordinates events
  • manages the ecumenical hospice chaplaincy through the chaplaincy coordinator
The executive meets four times a year with two representatives from each church. The annual meeting is on Thursday, 30th June at 7.30pm at Holywell Green United Reformed Church
